I am back! Sorry for being away for quite long. And yet again, here I am introducing tagua beads into the beading community.

This time I want to share a beautiful tagua beaded jewerly collection. This was shared by Sara maruri of Ecuador, she said (sorry I am not translating it):

tagua beaded jewelry in Greece

Introducing tagua beads into the beading community has been a very hard task, very time consuming, it has been such a nice adventure. I’ve got to meet very nice people, customers that have become friends. Such a pleasant experience.

The other day I’ve got an email from Alex, my friend in Russia. He was on vacation in Greece, and took the time to take this picture of a tagua beaded necklace, and emailed it to me. I guess he found this in a crafts shop or gift shop. I am not really sure.

Here are Alex words:
“Fabrizio.
I just came back from Athens.
Look what I saw where.
It was a small shop with products from Ecuador.
I took a photo special for you ))).
Sorry. I can took only one photo. Seller didn’t allow to take a pictures ((( ” » Read more: Tagua Beads has reached Greece Market: Beaded Necklace using exotic ivory tagua

tagua beads giveaway winner april 2011 (4)

Three days ago, our friend Naz of Coffee Lovah sent us an email with pictures of all the beaded jewelry she elaborated with the tagua beads won in our April Giveaway.

tagua beads giveaway winner april 2011 (2)It is very cool Naz, and the other winners have shared their designs. Please recall we are giving away tagua beads to give people the chance to get to  know ecofriendly tagua beads. (Tagua is nuts that comes from a palm tree, read more about tagua and its process into beads>>>)

Naz didn’t know what tagua was. She participated into our jewelry making contest with a beaded design named Biambi. Please note Biambi did not have a single bead of tagua, but that is the idea: Participate with any design you have, win tagua beads and learn about this exotic ivory nut. I believe Naz is another satisfied friend.

Here is the statement from Naz:

“Hi Fabrizio,

Here’s some of what i have done to the beads you sent me. I added local bead into them but the focal beads are the ones you sent me.
Thanks so much.

From Russia with Love: Tagua Beads reach Russian Market!

Tagua Beads Necklace 2Hello Dear friends,

First of all please accept my apologies for not writting before, but I was too busy getting everything ready for our Tagua Beads Catalog 2011. Actually it should be seed beads since we also carry coconut beads. It has been quite an adventure, but I will share about this in my next posts.

Today’s tittle is the same as the famous movie of british agent 007 (by the way, I am a big fan of his movies). The reason is that a few months we got contacted by some people from Russia asking for Tagua Beads. After checking in our records we out it was Alexander, who bought beads from us back in Mar 2010. After catching up, we found out she and her partner were doing very nice with their bead shop, that tagua demand was increasing and they needed more stocks. They bought quite a large arsenal of beads, over 80kilos. Very surprising for a 2nd order!

We took advantage of the opportunity and asked Alexander to answer our questions about their experiences with new business, and here is what she shared with us:

Meet Sara Maruri, jewelry designer

March 28th, 2011

» Read more: Meet Sara Maruri, jewelry designer
