Purify the air of your home with essential oils and aroma diffusers

Sometimes the air of our home can be contaminated by humidity, the smell of our pets or other factors that makes breathing the smell is not so pleasant. To avoid all these complications and to be able to breathe a purer air, and with a pleasant aroma, I bring you the following recommendation.

As you have read the title of the post what we will do to purify the air and the environment of our home is to use a diffuser of aromas and essential oils, taking advantage of the benefits of aromatherapy to improve our mood and even to strengthen our defenses.

Essential oils allow us to perfume our home and even vary that aroma depending on the moment, the season or what we want to achieve.

Using a diffuser is easy, currently the diffusers are used as fragrances. Thanks to the vaporization particles of essential oils are dispersed by our environment. We can use the diffusers anywhere we want. This thanks to its vapor is not toxic, on the contrary it serves to relax us and to remain in a state of harmony and peace.

What we will do is just put a little water in the diffuser and we will place 5 to 8 drops of essential oil, and let the aroma diffuser do its magic, he will start to aromatize your home.

How to make a homemade aroma diffuser?

If you do not have a scent diffuser, you can make a homemade one, as for example I recently wrote a blog about how to make homemade rod diffusers. Just look for a container that has an approximate height of 12 to 25 cm, and buy specific rattan rods for the diffusion of oil. The first thing to do is take our container and place a quarter of a cup of base oil, that is, neutral oil or almond or coconut, if you do not have this type of oil you can use water with alcohol. Then we will add 25 to 30 drops of essential oil, if you see that it is missing or the smell is not so strong add a little more.

Make sure to mix everything well, once it is all well mixed, introduce the rod from 4 to 8 and let it stand for 1 to 2 hours, then remove and turn them to soak the dry ends in the oil mixture. In this way, they will absorb both ends and the essential oil will quickly start to emit its aroma, the smell will begin to smell after 1 day, but believe me the result is fascinating.

Another method and the one that is more common, is to put water in an atomizer and then place 8 to 12 drops of essential oil, then shake it well and start spraying all over the house. Anyway I leave a link for you to learn how to make natural air fresheners to eliminate the bad smells of the home.
