Purify the air of your home with essential oils and aroma diffusers

Sometimes the air of our home can be contaminated by humidity, the smell of our pets or other factors that makes breathing the smell is not so pleasant. To avoid all these complications and to be able to breathe a purer air, and with a pleasant aroma, I bring you the following recommendation.

How to make a homemade aroma diffuser?

Just look for a container that has an approximate height of 12 to 25 cm, and buy specific rattan rods for the diffusion of oil. The first thing to do is take our container and place a quarter of a cup of base oil, that is, neutral oil or almond or coconut, if you do not have this type of oil you can use water with alcohol. Then we will add 25 to 30 drops of essential oil, if you see that it is missing or the smell is not so strong add a little more.

Make sure to mix everything well, once it is all well mixed, introduce the rod from 4 to 8 and let it stand for 1 to 2 hours, then remove and turn them to soak the dry ends in the oil mixture. In this way, they will absorb both ends and the essential oil will quickly start to emit its aroma, the smell will begin to smell after 1 day, but believe me the result is fascinating.

What essential oils can we use in our house?

For winter season or season change seasons: Usually many people suffer from allergies or flu during the winter or the sudden change of season, in many cases children suffer from flu, allergy and cough, and as It is common they hate medicines. For that reason I can suggest that you use the following essential oils.

Palo santo has a high concentration of limonene, a medicinal terpene known to be a strong antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, antifungal and antiseptic agent. helps to counteract diseases such as flu, allergies, asthma, migraine and bad mood, dizziness, panic, stress, muscle aches and work anxiety.

• Lemon Eucalyptus It has antibacterial and antiviral properties, and is very effective against respiratory diseases.

• Lavender: Powerful antiseptic, works very well when combined with other oils.

To improve our mood: After a hard and hectic day, all we want is to get home, relax and be surrounded by positive energy to be in a good mood. For this I recommend using in your diffusers of aromas or home environmental citrus essential oils, these essential oils are the best natural antidepressants.

Among the citrus oils you can use lemon, orange, mandarin, Palo santo, choose the ones that make you feel better. The pleasant aroma of these essential oils can help activate in our brain happy memories of childhood that lead us to states of well-being and calmness.
