The cable car

Panecillo

This is another of the viewpoints where the famous Alada Virgin of Quito is located. This image is constructed with 7000 pieces of aluminum. At night you can see the fluorescence of its silver color.  This site is 300 meters above sea level. This indicates that its climate is cool and moderate.

Also here is a museum where the guide explains the history of how this virgin was built. You can enter the virgin and climb 2 floors inside it. Here you can take panoramic photos of the city. The hours of operation are from Monday to Friday from 07:00 to 17:00; Saturdays and Sundays from 06:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.
